Megan Loya McQueen was born and raised in southern California to parents’ Evelyn and Jeff. Her mother is of Mexican descent while her father’s ancestors hail from Great Britain and Ireland. After moving east to attend NYU, Megan went on to receive her MFA from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University. She has played roles from Shakespeare to John Patrick Shanley, working both on stage and in front of the camera. Most recently, Megan starred as leading lady Rosie Ramirez in the world premiere of Spin Off; a new play by Tony award winning playwright Bernard Pomerance. You can also catch her this winter in the Hallmark movie Christmas Camp, and she has recently appeared in commercials for Capital One and Lorissa’s Kitchen. Other notable roles include Kayla in the short film Noise, Jennifer in Almost, Finally and Kayleen in Gruesome Playground Injuries.
